The PXI-6143 Multifunction I/O Module (Part Numbers: 779063-01, 191083E-01, 191083F-01) features 8 analog input channels with 16-bit resolution, maximum sampling rate of 250 kS/s per channel, and 8 digital I/O channels. This synchronous sampling multifunction data acquisition device includes a 68-pin VHDCI I/O connector, two 24-bit counters/timers, and digital triggering capabilities.
The NI PXI-6143 is ideal for various applications including high-energy physics, ultrasonic and sonar testing, highly transient and ballistic signals, and multi-axis control. NI-DAQmx drivers and accompanying configuration utilities simplify setup and measurement.

Technical Advantages
As part of NI's S Series family, the PXI-6143 features simultaneous sampling capability with dedicated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for each channel. This architecture eliminates concerns about settling time and noise when switching input channels, allowing precise DC and dynamic measurements. Unlike traditional data acquisition devices that share sampling rates between channels, S Series devices increase total throughput with each additional active channel.
