Fluke FI-500 FiberInspector Micro Fiber Optic Microscope with Automatic Focusing PortBright Lighting and Compact Probe Design

Fiber optic panels are typically covered with LC connectors, making port visibility challenging without additional lighting. The integrated PortBright flashlight eliminates the need for external tools, allowing easy port location and probe connection with simple button activation on the probe.

With dimensions of only 23mm (0.95") wide and 51mm (2") thick, the compact probe easily accesses narrow spaces within wiring boards while minimizing disruption to adjacent fibers.

Unlike manual microscopes requiring focus ring adjustment, the FI-500 features automatic focusing activated via probe or display unit buttons. This hands-free operation completes in 3-5 seconds, making it ideal for UPC end face inspection.

Note: For APC (angled physical connector) ends, connector or probe rotation may be necessary if initial alignment requires adjustment.

When the image is paused, automatic centering immediately positions the fiber optic pin at the screen center and initiates auto-focus. This eliminates manual fiber manipulation, enabling effortless fiber core inspection.
