The National Instruments PXI-6529 (Part Number: 779949-01) is a channel-to-channel isolated 48-channel PXI digital input/output module with sink/source input capability. This parallel industrial interface module is an ideal solution for applications including industrial factory automation, automotive design, machine control, and biomedical applications. The device features a digital input voltage range of -60V to 60V with digital I/O logic levels of 60V.

Functional Details
The PXI-6529 provides change detection capability, allowing users to monitor changes on all or selected input lines. When change detection is enabled, the module can be programmed to send a 200 ns pulse to any RTSI line upon detecting a change. The digital logic registers a low state when no voltage is applied to the load and no current flows through the load or module input. A high state is registered when the device detects current flow through the device input and load.
Compatibility
The PXI-6529 operates with NIDAQmx driver software and is compatible with development environments including LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI. The device can be verified using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tools.
